Debtech was engaged by Connex Melbourne Pty Ltd to provide project management services for the design and construction of lighting upgrades at railway stations across the Melbourne metropolitan area as part of a State Government initiative to improve passenger security.
Debtech was extensively involved throughout the scope definition and tender phases of the project and provided commercial advice during construction and commissioning. The role included: scope definition; development of design and construct performance measures; preparation of tender and contract documents; tender evaluation and negotiation; and contract administration advice as required.
The project has been a success for Melbourne commuters and was completed on time and on budget with no disputes.
