Debtech assisted Barrett Burston Malting with managing the addition of two malt barley grain silos at the Geelong malt house facility.
In recent years the Geelong plant has been updated with the latest technology and services, making it one of the leading malt houses in Australia.
Two 350-tonne silos were constructed on Barrett Burston Malting’s existing plant at Geelong to provide additional barley storage.
The design and construct project required the integration of the new silos, conveyors and structures to enable the barley to be transferred into the existing elevator and cleaning plant for processing.
