Ivanhoe Grammar School is undertaking the construction of an underground car park on the Ridgeway Campus in order to provide additional on-site car and bicycle parking. A natural turf playing field will be constructed over the car park to provide for sports such as cricket, football and outdoor physical education classes.
The design and development of the underground car park has required careful management to minimize the impact on school operations and the surrounding environment including services and the protection of many of the existing trees, some as old as 100 years.
Debtech has been involved from the early project planning stage providing cost planning services and assisting with appointment of consultants, management of concept design and the council approval process.
Debtech is providing project and contract management services during the construction period.
