This inner-city project involved the partial demolition of a former cordial factory . Room 11 architects designed the four three-storey warehouse style residences incorporating vast roof terraces, a cedar-clad courtyard and energy-efficient features including double glazing, 5kw solar power and water tank.
Debtech was involved with the entire process from reviewing the demolition contract, reviewing and advising on drawings and specifications, assisting with the preparation of the scope of works, tender negotiation and contract preparation including terms and conditions. Debtech worked collaboratively with the client, Room 11 architects, consultants and the builder on the design process to ensure authorities and development approvals were met. Debtech managed the project during the construction period to ensure that the program, budget and quality measures were achieved.
