Debtech is proud to have provided project and contract management for the new Sports and Aquatic Centre at Ivanhoe Grammar School. Our project managers, Sean Rooney and David Bourne worked closely with the School, McIldowie Partners Architects, NJM design (Vic) Pty Ltd, Stantec, Ratio and Building Engineering to coordinate the design and deliver this outstanding state of the art facility.
This outstanding new centre was built on the site of the old pool with solar panels on the roof and high performance glass which minimises energy consumption, this eco-friendly and sustainable building makes Ivanhoe Grammar School one of the leading schools in Australia for solar power use. The centre includes four underground basketball courts, two roof top tennis courts, a gymnasium, exercise rooms and 50m indoor swimming pool to encourage students and staff to be active.
