The addition of these new facilities to the school will go a long way towards supporting students and their studies. The whole school is looking forward to making great use of them.

The Revolution is Complete

Ivanhoe Grammar School officially opened new buildings funded by the Federal Government through its BER program at both Buckley House and the Plenty Campus on Tuesday 30 November.

Debtech were engaged by Ivanhoe Grammar School as Project Manager and Independent Certifier for the design and delivery of both construction projects funded by the Australian Federal Governments Economic Stimulus Package – Building Education Revolution (BER).

Marjorie Gregory Library
The Marjorie Gregory Library at Buckley House is a two storey building that houses the library collection and a teaching area on the ground floor, with a conference room and substantial storage space upstairs, all of which link seamlessly with the Innovation Centre and the Years 5 and 6 classrooms.

Multi Purpose Building
The Multi Purpose building at Plenty Campus will become a focal point of the School. The building holds 300 people seated and has been fitted out with a portable stage, AV equipment, toilet facilities, generous storage areas and planned kitchen facilities.

The newly completed Multi-Purpose Building was opened by Mr Rob Mitchell, MP (Member for McEwan), the Most Reverend Dr Philip Freier, Archbishop of Melbourne, the Chair of the Board of Governors, Mr Peter Kempen and the Principal, Mr Rod Fraser. Attendees included Board of Governors, Life Governors, parents, staff from all three Campuses, and students.
